it's gates' world, we just rent space

has anyone seen this shit yet? it is the new crazy digital surface from microsoft. it's fairly cool. but to us geeks that grew up watching star trek, this is nothing new. god that show was amazing.

i saw this two days ago and yet i'm still not that excited about it. especially today on iphone day. its funny how apple teased this new dohicky for 6 months, building demand for a product that most likely will take a few years to get the kinks out and then grabbed onto by the masses. yet, gates and his crew, who own marketshare simply by having strong agreements with computer manufacturers, feels no need to market this yet. sure, its' expensive as shit and not really able to be used in the household right now, but it sure is cool to think about the possibilities.
