so what's gay-er?

and of course, i mean gay in the truest sense of the word. no one reads this shit, so the only person i'll offend by that is my buddy trevor.

driving home tonight, i caught myself doing something and wondered what's more queer...

1) me catching myself singing along to an aimee mann song from the magnolia soundtrack

or 2) a friend of mine and his brother using annie lennox as their hype song when they go to the river boat to gamble?

I can't defend my brothers actions since we were in his car and the CD was his, and the only reason why we listened to it was I couldn't take anymore Rod Stewart or the Wallflowers, so this was the only other choice. Since we eventually went on one of the largest craps runs ever, we had to make sure that we didn't deviate from any process that took us to the promise land, so we were obligated to listen to it everytime we went gambling.

But since that gay moment in the car, I have been a huge fan of Ms. Lennox. I'm not going to hide it, unlike Curr and everyone of my other friends.

I thought you said you were singing along to an anime song which sounded about par for your course.

People that gradually met the group were always amazed that Curr, (or most often the guy that made them feel awkward and as if he didn't really like them) (which of course was true half the time) was the biggest geek in the group.

A lot of times, girls would say stuff like I thought curr was the cool guy that got all the girls. And this was true for the most part, even though I'm not going to let him count melinda, that motley crue hag from high school, and the former mrs. almost bibs, but good enough.

Anyway, it's funny how curr's general willingness to call people out for being fuckwads far before anyone else thought of this/worked up the nerve to do so did an excellent job of hiding that fact, that given his druthers he would much rather be reading comics (sure I arranged star wars people as late as early teens, oddly enough with curr and was afraid of girls until my mid-20's but comics, that's like a paul fifer move, isn't it)or arranging his platoon on his 8 foot long, plastic, GI JOE aircraft carrier.

By the way I just found an extra 97 mvp vote for john elway, and you still lost. Hats of to a true pioneer of covert geekdom.

If anyone saw the CD collection in my car they'd swear I was a Structure-shopping, 26-year old from Lakewood with a poodle named Dot.
